Hey guys I got a set of Hornady 9mm dies. After purchased I realized these put a roll crimp rather than a taper crimp on the case. Why Hornady would even make a set of 9mm dies with roll crimp I cant understand.:banghead: Anyways, can these be used and put a gentle roll crimp on or should I buy a Lee FCD and lose the station for Lockout/powder cop die? Ill be shooting out of Glock 9mm and Beretta 92. Thanks.

I have the same set and haven't had any problems. I adjust the die height to have an ever-so-slight crimp. I too was a little worried until I searched here and throughout the web to find that people with the same set were OK.
I also set my expander to a super-short depth, just the mouth of the case, that's all it takes.

They also sell a combination seater/taper crimp die.
It does a much better job of crimping than using a light roll crimp with your existing seater/crimper.
