Went to local gun shop tonight, got 2000k small rifle primers at pre-Sandy Hook insanity prices. Oh and this morning at work my boss gave me a free Kershaw locking blade knife.

As Ice Cube would say, today was a good day. Sorry I had to brag here because my wife doesn't care!

Actually what she said was "I think you love primers more than me."

LOL

Why do you need 2 million primers?;)

We go everyday at lunch and my biggest score so far was a box of each type of large, non-magnum primers, a Lyman powder funnel, and an RCBS chamfer tool.

It's not the bill of needs, it is the Bill of Rights.

I'll take em.

Good for you! My wife usually at least pretends to care for a moment.

And to think that the local Cabellas had enough 209A primers yesterday that I purchased 3K without worrying that I had shorted another reloader or four his share.:D I see things are starting to loosen up some around here.:scrutiny:

Plenty of shot shell primers at Cabelas last Sunday but little else by way of popular reloading components. Just got another e-mail from them Monday morning stating my order for .22 55GR FMJ placed on 1/6 remains on backorder with no firm delivery date.

Last night my LGS sold me 1K Small Pistol Magnum primers for $37.00. Not sure if that's a good price or not, but now I can reload that small-pocket .45ACP brass that showed up on my bench.

(BTW... any change in powder charge needed with those primers? I am considering using 5.0 gr of 231 with a 230GR Berry's plated round nose bullet. data.hodgdon.com makes no distinction between large and small primed brass in their data so I suppose it doesn't matter?)

I haven't noticed a difference between the two.

I just scored a pound of H335 for 25. I had the chance to buy a brick of large rifle primers as well to night bit since I did not need them I gave them back to the guy at the counter.

I got an email earlier today telling me my Hornady 158 gr. .30 cal bullets are in, I ordered 2/100 round boxes, $23.99 a box ! I've waited 5 months for these, I am stoked!

I could easily afford 2K primers and maybe even 20K primers if I really scrape up some cash but I don't think I could ever afford 2000K primers!!!

You must be very rich and you must have found the last huge stash of primers available in any store in the USA. :p

I can one up that. I was moving some boxes in my garage and came across 3500 LPP, 1500 SPP, 1,000 .45 bullets, a box of 7MM Nosler Partition, 500 .357 bullets, 2,000 9MM bullets, and 500 .38 bullets. Plus my old reloading book and a Dillon large Brass primer flip tray. I had totally forgot about those boxes in the cupboards.

That's better than finding money in a coat you have not worn in a few months.
