The study (http://www.law.harvard.edu/students/orgs/jlpp/Vol30_No2_KatesMauseronline.pdf) is from 2007. The fact that it is just over 5 years old doesn't invalidate the international review value.

This study would only be important if the "Gun Control" advocates were interested in
reducing murders/crimes...they are not,they are interested in "People Control" by any and all means possible,so the above is moot.
