Is there an accessory that turns a standard holster that you feed the belt through into a clip on?

you can add loops and make it an IWB

I suppose you could add clips the same way, but loops at the top of the slot gives you about the correct ride height, while clips at the bottom of the slot would be at the wrong height AND would need to be secured in place by more than gravity/belt tension.

It's for a 22/45. It will stay outside, I just wanted to be able to clip it on instead of threading my belt through.

What holster are you using now? Knowing that might help someone make a suggestion on what you could do to make it easier on/off.

For a range toy and easy on/off paddle holsters are fairly easy and cheap, they're just lousy for concealment in most cases.

Haven't bought one yet, but I am looking at a Uncle Mikes.

You don't want a clip-on.
They do a lot of flopping around.

You want a paddle holster.

Learn from the experience of others - avoid uncle mike and his cheap, soft, flimsy, unsecure holsters.

This is the holster I use for my Ruger target pistols:

The Raven Concealment Phantom will allow several different attachment methods. Belt loops, clip on, IWB, etc.

Raven does take some time for delivery, but they make a very good product. However, there are bunches and bunches of copiers out there and many will deliver much faster than Raven. Be careful though, one of the strongest points of the Raven Phantom is the versatility of the holster, and many of the copycats, while looking similar, don't have the same versatility.

Be very careful with a clip-on. Some of the cheaper one have clips that do not hold the holster on. I had one that the way the clip was shaped, the holster (and the gun) landed on the ground. The clip was still on my belt.

Also, some of the nylon holsters come with both a clip and a belt loop. And, yes, the clip-on lets the holster flop around.
