Anyone have one? I have a p238 Extreme and love it! Want to get a Scorpion model to go with it.
Curious how the FDE finish holds up. So far the nitron finish on the extreme model has held up very well, and we've never experienced a malfunction with the gun so I have a lot of praise towards them though I'm not sold on the P938 yet. Waiting for the initial bugs to get worked out if any.

I really like those little Sig's. I have been thinking that a pair of them would be nice for myself and Mrs. kb.

i love ours. a couple bothersome things: with safety on, if you try and rack the slide, it half cocks hammer...and a trigger pull drops it..maybe this is normal on other guns, but i thought strange. seems like it could accidentally discharge tho i cant think of a scenario that it could happen, other than loading a single round through the ejection port. i talked to sig about it...im new at this so who knows...also, ive only been to the range twice with it and it seems to fire about 4.5" left and 4.5" low. going to have to tinker w sights which is never good news for me

I love my Sig 238 (HD model). It's absolutely accurate, perfectly reliable so far and is very well made. It's heavy, but that's only because it has a stainless frame as well as slide.

I was looking at the Scorpion as well. It was the same price as the HD model, which is was I really wanted. However, I was having a heck of a time finding anyone selling one.
I was about to pull the trigger on the Scorpion model, but located a HD model on Gunbroker.

I am a fan of the 238, no doubt about it. My wife has zero problems racking the slide and if the hammer is retracted first, I cant image a person out there without a serious medical condition not being able to chamber a round.

As for the hammer dropping of half cock, a round will not fire under that condition. I was concerned at first myself when I discovered mine would do this. I pulled a Federal fmj and chambered the primed brass. Attempting to fire the round from half cock not only did not fire the cartridge, but there was no mark whatsoever on the primer. I don't think the firing pin is even making contact with the cartridge unless the hammer falls from full-cock. I attempted this several time with the same results.

I carry mine loaded with Winchester 95gr Ranger Talons in a tuckable holster. It's a sweetie without a doubt.

Been carrying a 938 for a month now and love it! I'm a Colt snob but this Mimtastic 938 is just so nice to carry, it replaced my Lightweight Commander. It is an accurate shooter too! Easy to rack slide, very manageable recoil. There are cheaper guns that will do the same job but to me the 938 was worth every one of the 750 bucks.

Now off to Cylinder and Slide to see about the possibility of an aluminum trigger and steel slide stop :D

Oh, and I highly recommend the extended mag and Hogue grip.

Lol, Mimtastic..nice. :)

I've got a Kimber pro carry 9mm, and shoot a friends' older early "II" Pro Raptor a lot, and neither of us has had any issues with a MIM part from them.

The only model P238 available around me at the moment is a "Zombie" which to me is just plain stupid and ugly. lol

I'd love a Scorpion, but whatever model turns up first is going to be what we get, unless it's a "Lady" or the one w/ pink grips..lol

Thought about the 938, and issues with them vs the P238?
