My sister and her husband are moving to San Diego (hes a member of the air group on the Reagan) and she is wondering if she can take the High Standard 12g shotgun I gave them as a wedding present. Its completely stock, no pistol grips or anything, 28 inch barrel.

Do they have to register it? What is involved? Its their only firearm.

That shot gun is A-OK in CA. No registration as Teachu said.

As long as it doesnt fit the AW description, and that one doesnt, your fine.

California law does not require persons moving into California report rifles or shotguns....
