I could have sworn several years ago that I read somewhere that Marlin only made the model 60's with the 18 round magazines and last shot bolt hold open feature only in 1987 and 88. I just bought a 1990 model yesterday that has the 18round mag and last shot bolt hold open. So now I'm wondering if I have a bit of a rarity on my hands. Can anyone confirm what years had it? I've tried Google'ing it with no help.

I bought mine with birthday money (I was 11) in 1991. It has the 18 round tube and bolt hold open. My Dad and I went to Service Merchandise for a lawn mower and came back with a Marlin 60. We then watched our planes bomb Baghdad all night. It was the opening night of the war.

However I do not know the production years for them. I could have just bought a NOS one that they had in the back for a few years.
