I have come across a 30-40 year old (cool!) M8-4x 33mm scope (already mounted) on a STD 1 piece base, but it is missing one of the windage/elevation screws on the rear.
Not only then is the scope canted off to an angle, such that it wont hit paper at 10 feet, but it is not securely affixed- as these screws also serve to hold the scope onto the base.

Anyone know of a source for replacement screws?

I did a net search, but nothing came up. perhaps i was entering the wrong terms.

Did you call Leupold? If you do they will have what you want.

I did, e-mail actually. Haven't yet heard back, so your right: maybe I posted prematurely and they'll come through for me after all.

I bet they will. Probably send it to you for nothing too. I've had nothing but stellar customer service from them.

They have stellar customer service. A year ago I asked them to send me a screw that holds the windage turret in place. They sent me a bag of 6, allen wrench and a felt dust cloth, all free.

They did just inform me that they will ship me a replacement at no charge!
Exellent!
