I'm currently using Blue Dot for my 180gr and 200gr (mostly cast lead) 10mm loads. They shoot OK, but who likes something different?

I'm shooting these in a G20 with an EFK barrel, if that helps any....

I like the 180 and 200 grain XTPs in my 10mm. If I want something really zippy, I like to shoot 135 grain Noslers...hitting over 1600 ft per second at the muzzle of my Elite Match.

You aren't getting decent accuracy with the leadcast stuff?

It's ok. Just looking around as to my options.

I did up a bunch of 170g cast TC profile that were pretty nice. Sort of an in-between weight. I like the 180g and 200g myself.

That is out of a G20 w/ Jarvis National Match 6" barrel btw.

Range loads, 180gr Cast and Jacketed TC powered by Silhouette.

High performance, top velocities, 180gr Jacketed with Longshot. Check out Hodgdon for Longshot data, impressive.

I shoot a lot of 800x loads with 180 leads. They work great but I am working on 200 grn loads. Traditionally Unique is good for lead but it seems a bit fast for 10mm in my experience.

since I worked on 10mm development--but, IIRC, WSF was a good one.

I'll try to find them....more later.

800x to get the 200 gr jacketed bullets moving fast but it meters like crap.

I have been using 165gr Berry's flat points with W231 powder and CCI primers. This mix is a good middle of the road round that shoots well out of me G20 with 6" Storm Lake barrel.

Unique is FAST in 10mm? I didn't know it was fast in anything!
I am just starting to work up some 10mm loads myself, so I am very interested to hear what everyone has to say on the subject.

Should be plenty of threads on here in regards to 10mm loads. I posted a bunch of reloading results a few years ago when I first got into 10mm.

Use AA#7 for your 10mm loads as an alternative. Both this and Blue Dot are great 10mm powders. I get best results with 180gr JHP zipping along near maximum. Work up carefully as you would with any other full-strength loads.

First of all, subscribing. :)

I am a fairly new 10mm reloader. My loads so far have been lead 180 gr with Unique, HS6, 231, Bullseye and one other...I forget, and it apparently was not worthy of note.

I will continue to experiment with Unique and HS6...the rest, probably not, unless I have no other powder options.

I recently (actually, back in October) acquired a pound of Power Pistol and a pound of 800X. Both seem to have a bit of promise in 10mm.

While I like the 10mm, it is more of a curiosity than a conviction (like .45acp). I load and shoot and carry .45acp.

10mm...once in a while. Using a DW CBOB which was a nightmare to get working right...that may be part of it. It is a neat caliber, and a neat gun. lots more work than I figured on, and "almost" more than it is worth.

My most recent load was 6.0 grains of Unique over a 180 grain Rainier plated bullet. The accuracy was phenomenal!
