Those of you that may have had oral surgery probably know that recoil against your cheeks afterwards can be a problem for a while. Yesterday I found out that I would have oral surgery today. Therefore I made the command decision to shoot a few rounds of trap beforehand. I traveled to a new course that has recently opened. The machines and layout are nice. I was pleased with scores of 22, 24, 23, 23. At one point I had a perfect round going until missing both the 18 and 19 shots. Spring is upon us ladies and gentlemen. Share your scores and experiences for the day. We need to share more of those moments between us before we get too old to remember them! :)

I can count the number of trap rounds on two hands and have fingers left over - that said, sporting clays has me hooked. If you have never tried it, give it a go once you're healed. You'll discover the challenge and fun of a shotgun game that has nothing to do with bad guys, HD, or anything video-game related..........
Get well soon

At the ripe old age of 16, I missed the 100th target for a score of 98 during the Ky State Hdcp...1980. I have yet to live that down. That target cost me some $$$.

I learned that it ain't over, 'til its over!

Our club has trap and skeet every Saturday and Sunday, and Sporting Clays and 5-Stand each once a month. I figure it's all just clay targets in the air so I shoot everything. That said, I shot three rounds of skeet last Sunday and scored 21, 22, and 24.
