Hi guys,

Does anybody recognize this headstamp or the magazine that contained the ammo?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Looks to be from a WWII German Gewehr 43/Karabiner semi-auto.

8mm Mauser caliber from April 1944.

Thanks a lot! I didnīt even think about the G43, which I should have since there are not that many magazine fed rifles from that era :o

Those G.43/K.43 mags in good condition are bringing in the neighborhood of $200+ these days.

The ammo should be assumed to be corrosive; without the box, there is no way to be sure.
