I received a boresight today for my 9mm pistol. It appears that my pistol is sighted dead on at 3 yards but at 10 yards, the sights are about 1-2 inches low.
I do not have adjustable sights on my P-01 so how (if at all) can I adjust the sights so that I am on at 10 yards?

Do you have a file? :D You need a higher rear sight or a shorter front sight. Not familiar with that model, but different height sights may be available. That's assuming it's not the shooter of course.

Thank you; I'm curious if it is a normal phenomenon for the sights to be dead on at very close range and then for the poa to move steadily upward as you move farther away----is this normal?

Have you actually shot it yet?

Plenty; I have about 800 rounds fired; just decided to get a boresight for several of my handguns to see just how accurate the sights are.
I had no idea about the movement of the POA until I put the boresight in.

Sorry to tell you this now, but you wasted your money buying it.
You cannot laser bore sight a handgun.
Handguns move and recoil upward, and twist in the hand whichever way the rifling twist is starting the bullet spinning 50,000+ RPM in the barrel length.
While the bullet is still in the barrel.
Where it points with a laser bore-sighter, and where it hits when hand held under recoil are two different things.
And never the twain shall meet!
See this about that:
Revolvers kick off target more then autos.
But they all kick up off target, and start to twist in the hand while the bullet is still in the barrel.
