Which do you folks prefer? An AK variant that would shoot a 9mm, or an AR variant that'll handle a .45ACP?

Depends. Which makes for the best bear defense?

Or do you think that the .22 short deringer that's easy to carry will be more effective than a .500 S&W with a 10" barrel that you'll leave at home in the safe?

Well, I wouldn't want to be shot with either one! Shot Placement is the key!

Then again, is the .45ACP AK more accurate if you replace the wood stocks with carbon fiber laminate, with integral rails that you can bolt 10 pounds of black-painted toys onto?

And how does one conceal it?

Would it be better if it was chrome plated and had da switch?

If a gun rag writer tries to carjack you, and you shoot him 11 times with handloads, is the prosecutor gonna give you a medal? Or are the first 10 free, and the 11th shot a felony?

Then again, is a Daisy Red Ryder that has been painted black more tactical than a Remington 700 in an unpainted wood stock?

on which is best when the SHTF. Is penetration more important than expansion, and how many goats will it kill???

And, as for Bear defense, Tampa Bay probably had the best.:neener:
