Broke my AK?

OK after putting together my US parts kit successfully... had a minor hiccup or two. Was getting light primer strikes and the pistol grip game loose. Solved the grip problem by using the longer original grip screw.

Took the rifle apart when I got home and noted the sping loaded firing pin seemed stiff and not fully protruding back.

Took out my somewhat primitive Norinco manual that showed the drift pin that holds it in place. Double checked the Duncan LOng book, drifted the pin, took out the firing pin. Cleaned the channel and the pin hole.

Pin was moving moch better.

But I THINK as I put it back in place I rotated the firing pin as I tapped in the drift pin and it bound up. Took a punch to push the pin back out.. and BROKE THE PUNCH off in the hole.

What the HECK do I do?

This is a 5.56mm Mak 90 and it's not like spare bolt heads are easily available. In Colorado need help. :(

Hmm... Could you possibly just tap the pin back in to push the punch back out?

toss it in the freezer for a while and drive the punch out the other way with the drift pin
