Has anyone here gotten one of those Winchester leather jackets they are offering as a rebate for purchasing a Super X2?

If so, how do you like it? Is it nice? How does it fit? (Is it sized correctly? Large really is Large, etc.)

Yes. It is a "American" cut. I enjoy the roominess. I can carry my Browning HP 9MM in the hidden pocket inside without it showing. It is a well made jacket. I call the leather Russian hide. It is heavy and textured nicely. Stitching is heavy duty. The storm flap is functional. The synthetic sleeve cuffs are the only fair rated part of the jacket. They are close fitting and seal out the cold well. If I am out in the wet weather, I get them wet. They take forever to dry. The lining is excellent and warm. The zipper is heavy duty. There are two locker loops on the jacket, one inside the collar and a large Winchester embossed one on the back. I like mine. Excellent quality.

Thanks for the info. I saw some Winchester leather jackets in the CDNN catalog. The ad states that they run small - order one size smaller than you wear. I'm wondering if these are the same jackets.

I'm getting ready to process my rebate and am just wondering if I should order my size or one size smaller.

It is roomy. I don't like constrictive clothes. I bought my size. I can reach, turn, carry my CCW without worrying about ride up and I can put my hands in the pockets. It is a American cut and more of a 1940s style fit. If you are looking for a trim and fashionable fit, go down one size. I went for function over form. I can layer warm clothing under this jacket. Remember that there is 0 give or flexibility to leather. This jacket in particular is stiff. The Russian textured leather does not stretch at all.
