Obviously the S&W agreement bugs a lot of folks.

For other and lesser offenses and cute marketing tricks and internal company politics, do they make you enjoy your gun less?

Ex: Kimber SWEARING the Series II is a good thing and won't even give you an option,
Kimber having OOOOOOOOH LIMITED EDITION GOING FAST guns only to make them standard production next year
Plastic parts on Beretta Inox's. Come on guys, I can see them on the black guns but please, not the Inox's....
Bill Ruger's stupid honest man shouldn't need 10-round comment
Benelli's crappy at best, but really non-existent customer service
Good guys like Todd Green leaving Beretta :(

Corporate world is the corporate world. Like all those people who swore they would never use another EXXON product after the Valdez oil spill years go...don't see that many people now who even remember what oil company they're suppose to be boycotting or even what bigger company gobbled them up.
Just move on, enjoy your hobby. You may not be able to influence your world, but you can influence yourself & the immediate people around you.

Shoot straight & be happy!

Speaking strictly as a marketing and advertising guy: far too much of what passes for firearms industry marketing, advertising, and public relations makes the efforts of your local shoe repair business look downright sophisticated.
