I am an official member of the Mouse-Gun Club. My wife got me a P3AT for my B-day!!!!! I can hardly believe the size and weight of the thing, and am pretty excited to go shoot it tomorrow. Now I need a comfy little pocket holster, what do you guys recommend for the P3AT?

Since it's for your birthday, why not the best? I have Hedley front and back pocket holsters for my P-3AT and P-32. They are custom fitted to the shape of the pistol, not a one-size-fits-all. Quality is 2nd to none.

There are a lot of holster makers out there who make an excellent holster, and there are a variety of materials to choose from.

At K&D Holsters (www.kdholsters.com), we make custom leather holsters. Our most popular choice is the 2n1, which has a detachable anti-print panel. (80% of the holsters I make are for the P3AT.) The 2n1 gives you essentially a front pocket holster (with panel off) and a back pocket holster (with panel on) in one set up. The cost = $44/shipped. The cost for a leather front pocket, and an additional back pocket, would = $90/shipped that are offered by some other holster makers.

Like Hedley, we form fit the holster to the gun. And if you have a particular design feature you would like added, we can do that, too. We are more than happy to provide you with the holster you want, not one you had to choose because of limited selection/options. We just provided a custom/personalized holster to Rohrbaugh Firearms to go along with the R9 that they're presenting to Blackhawk.

Another excellent holster maker is Ron Graham, www.grahamholsters.com.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Best of luck to you in your search.

I've been thru a bunch of pocket holsters (although I have not tried the Hedleys). The Don Hume front-pocket holster is very nice, as is the K&D 2n1 (my personal favorite at the moment).
