Does anyone know of a good Cleaner to remove the Burnt marks on the front of a Cylinder. I have a Stainless Smith that has the Circle marks around each chamber. I remember someone saying a certain cloth was good but dont remember the name..

Thanks

I just asked this and a lot fo people reccommended lead remover cloths. I have yet to try it. Chrome polish works, but may or may not be too abrasive.

M-Pro7 will remove it. Amazing stuff.

And it has almost no odor!

www.mp7.com is the web site, and if you order M-Pro7 there, be sure to get the 15% discount during February.

When you check out, there will be a box for Promotional Code.

Type "TOM" in that box, and you'll get a 15% discount.

EJ can you please elaborate?

I used MPro7 for the first time tonight and this stuff is fantastic!! I was cleaning my 45 after shooting 230gr lead ball. I have taken 3-4 days to get the lead out of the barrel in the past using Shooters Choice lead remover. Typically giving the barrel a good scrubbing run a wet patch through until it comes out clean and let sit till the next night..... repeat until all the lead is gone. This takes days. Tonight all it took was 2 passes with patches and the brush and no more lead!!!!

MPro7 made a mistake when I phoned in my order and I didn't realize it until I checked my CC bill online and realized I was overcharged. I called them the next day and explained my bill was to high we realized they charged me for 1000 patches when I had ordered 250. They told me they would get back to me within 24 hours there reply was "Sorry about the mistake we will not charge you for the patches and we took an additional 10% off your bill." This to me was exemplary customer service.

Auto chrome polish and a toothbrush takes it off with almost zero abrasion. Apply some with a Q-tip on the frame around the forcing cone area and scrub with the toothbrush and it will take off the burn marks there too.

Simichrome a tube is approximately $5.00 bucks,
and available at most automotive outlet's! Plus
the fact, a tube will last for about ten year's; cuz its
kind'a like Brylcream, a little DAB will DO you.

Best Wishes,
