They're nice to look at, and mine are still in one piece (though scuffed), but my brother bought a set for his little derringer, and they shattered on the inside. He did not overtighten the screw.

RJ has some NAA Mini revolvers with white Micarta grips that make me drool. Unfortunately, he tells me that the company that made the grips is no longer in business.

Shooting buddy has the black "pearlite" grips on his glossy SS Vaquero. A good look, overall, similar to riddle-of-steel's grips, posted above.

But I'll stick with the wood grips on my Springfield 1911-A1 'Champion', thanks.

Is that a "Magnum" cylinder in your Mini? And, do you actually fire it with the pearl grips attached?
