Sharkskin? Sounds like it'd provide a good grip, downright abrasive. :uhoh:

You probably will need get one custom-made by a leathermaker.

Contact your favorite leathermaker and ask.
(I've seen slings made from trophy hides before so it's possible.)

Skunk fur sounds more appropriate.

Hey, they make sharkskin boots, so the bootmaker could most likely make up a sling for you...
