My friend and I, after tuning up my truck, decided we deserved some well-needed R&R. So, off to our shooting spot we went. :D
Here's me, posing with our animated silhouette targets. See any indications of how hot it was?

Here are some more -- the image limit isn't helping me.
My buddy, Chase, running and engaging targets. His ripped pants were the joke of the night.

The beautiful scenery.

This is the honeydew melon, left, and the cabbage, right, "before..."

The death of a honeydew to a 12-guage.

The spectacular end of a cabbage, again, thanks to a 12-guage.

We had a lot of fun. Hopefully the pics work, and are enjoyable.

LOL, I'll have to show him that SpongeBob book.
Gee, thinking about it now, I hope he doesn't mind me posting a picture of his torn butt on the internet.

I guess it takes one to know one. I noticed the Close to My Heart target holder. The question I always want to know is whether her stamping budget is bigger than your shooting budget.

You've got a sharp eye there. ;) I took that from my mother, and yes, she has a MUCH larger stamping budget than my shooting budget. But she doesn't tell me how to spend my money, and I don't tell her how to spend hers. It works well that way.
I'll have to put up a few other good pictures from a more recent trip soon.

Definitely -- I'm going to do everything within my power to do so. :D
I really want to meet you guys!
Wes
P.S., this just reminded me that I never put up the newer set of pics. My buddy got a Makarov and we got a couple of cool pictures. I'll work on that when I get home from work. ;)

I saw those plans - well, the making of some anyway.
Do any of you shoot the IDPA / UDPL matches at the FARM? I shot my first one last month and am going to try to attend the one 4/24.
If you do get a shoot together 6/12, I'll try to squeeze it in.
Good Shooting!

Actually, one of the officers of the UDPL (Utah Defensive Pistol League) is Correia here on the High Road. I'm sure a few Utah people shoot there.
A month ago? Man, I was going to go to that very shoot, but if I remember right, it was a 3-gun shoot and I don't have a rifle*. I do want to go out there and give IDPA a try. It looks really fun.
*I'm going to wait until the "evil scary gun ban" dies and then I'll get an M4gery.

Sword of Ammon, if you shot in the UDPL match on March 27th, I was the guy using the Saiga shotgun during the pistol match. :) If you shot in the 3gun, on the 20th, I was the match director. (the tall bald one).

I only saw one guy shooting a shotgun I am not familiar with on the 27th. Does your scattergun have utilize a 10 round magazine?
If so, nice work - that was some serious lead slingin'!
I loved the match. My schedule won't allow me to attend every month, but I'll be there once in a while.
