Recommendations for IWB Kydex Holster for Glock 26

So far, every leather holster I've tried for the Glock 26 has been a disaster. I'm now looking at IWB holsters for the Glock 26... I know Milt Sparks does good stuff and I would normally just use them; but the Glock already has a thick slide and I don't need to make it even thicker with another layer of leather.

I am thinking that Kydex is the way to go here; so I thought I would ask for recommendations for a good Kydex IWB for the Glock 26. Looking for something that can be worn with both 1.5" and 1.25" belts.

I have always been a fan of Bladetech...even though Kydex has no soul and is therefore of the devil... :D

Comp-tach is also an option..

Cen-dex is one of my favorites and Frank is good people

I have a Sidearmor IWB that is very comfortable. I've carried it for days, used it for IDPA matches, ridden with it on in the car. They've come out with a new IWB lately and I don't know much about it. The one I have is the old kind with interchangeable belt loops and j-hooks, though I don't ever use the j-hooks. It has a tab that rides between you and the gun that protects you from edges and also makes reholstering without looking very easy.

I have a KY-Tac Braveheart for my Glock 36 and love it.

Another one to consider is Top Gun Gear. They make a holster that can be configured for OWB, IWB, Shirt tucker, Paddle and mounting under a desk or under a dashboard. Very versatile!

Their website is new and pretty weak.

Comp-Tac also makes excellent holsters. I particularly like the Comp-Tac C-Tac and Ghurka models for my Glocks. I also like the Pro Undercover for my Kahr PM9.

I second the threat solutions UCR. It's by far the BEST holster I've ever used for the G26.

Conceals the pistol so well that even my wife doesn't know it's there under a tshirt unless she bumps into it.

Some excellent suggestions have been made, and I'll add to the list with a suggestion to check out the FIST line of kydex holsters. FIST uses a very thin form of kydex that results in very thin, light IWB holsters. Here's a link for more info:

FIST Holsters (

Although most of pics are of leather, FIST makes every holster in their line in a kydex version.

I've got a comp-tac that I could lend you for a week or so to try out. I really like it. It's a kydex and leather model that's similar to the VMII.

Techbrute - I may take you up on that.

azrael - no actual disaster... I've just bought a bunch of Glock 26 holsters that don't work well for me or don't work at all. One recurring problem with IWB holsters in leather is that the Glock is already very thick and a leather holster is thicker than a kydex one. I have an original Galco Deep Concealment (before they modified it) and it is worthless as a concealment holster since it looks like you are trying to smuggle a ham.

AHHHH now I understand....yea if you have a thick pistol already then a leather holster just gets to thick...I hate IWB's for that reason and just stick to a beltslide...(still havent figured out a name for it :D )

I bought a Comp-Tac C-TAC holster as my first CCW rig. I never had to buy a second. FWIW, I am 6-1 and about 190 pounds. It is thin, concealable, adjustable, and comfortable. Well worth the cash IMO.

I'll also recommend the Threat Solutions UCR, I have one for my Kahr and I'll buy one for my Glock 27.

I've used a Blade-Tech UCH for my G26 for years now. Always been very happy with it, and with the company too. (They replaced it, free of charge, when I broke my last one. Definitely above and beyond ...)
