Congratulations!

I have a Sig 1911 TacPac and it has worked well with various brand 200 gr SWC bullets and 5.0 gr of W231/HP-38 for target load and 4.0 gr of Red Dot/Promo for lighter recoil target load. I use factory Remington Golden Saber 185 gr JHP ammunition for HD and also use the same bulk bullets with WSF for full power practice loads.

I shot over 6000+ rounds through mine with factory and Chip McCormick 8rd power mags and it has functioned well without any parts breakage. I have only used Hoppes #9 and Break-Free CLP. Only thing that needed replacement has been the recoil spring. I use 16/16.5/17 Wolff Variable Power recoil springs and 17/18.5 lb Wilson Combat recoil springs whether I am shooting lighter recoil target loads or heavier factory loads.

My Sig barrel has very quick start of rifling with almost no leade so I needed to use shorter than typical OALs that work for other 1911 barrels. With Missouri 200 gr SWC bullets (IDP #1/Bullseye #1), OAL longer than 1.245" will hit the start of rifling.
