Hey Gang. I've got a SHTF IWB holster for my Bersa BP9CC, and it does work well. One thing however, today, when I stood up from my chair, a heard something land on the floor. I looked, and there was this weird little rubber O-ring thingy. I was looking at it and thinking "that's strange" when I heard another plink, and on the floor is a screw. That's really weird I think to myself. That's when I noticed my holster was riding a bit lower on my hip than it should be. (Wearing shorts today). The screw that holds one of the belt clips on came un-screwed... :scrutiny: Anyone else have this happen to them? No big deal as I can just use loc-tite on it. It just wasn't something I thought I was going to have to worry about. :o

While you're at it, loctite ALL of the screws.

Question... if the S has H'ed the F, why would you be using an IWB over a less-restrictive OWB?

Hey Bovice... Hmm..that's a good question! I think if the SHTF I'd be using my Remington 1911 along with my Wilson Combat Tactical Assault holster, and using my Bersa as a backup.. :o

I'll second the recommendation to loctite all the screws on the holster. Nothing's worse than not having faith that your holster will completely secure your weapon.

In certain situations it would be more advantageous to hide the fact that you're armed. Think of a situation like Katrina. Anyone who was openly displaying a firearm was challenged by police. If you're taking part in a mass evacuation of a large city like NOLA or if you're working to clean up after a tornado, you'll probably want to be armed, but may not want others you are near to know. A lot of times it's much easier to just be inconspicuous.

On the other hand, if its bad enough that you're carrying a rifle everywhere, a OWB holster isn't that big of a deal.
