I recently noticed Checkmate has 10 round extended tube magazines for the 1911. Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they reliable? I have their 8 round mags and am happy with them.

Happy shooting.

I have Tripp 10-rounders and they are about as good as you can get.

I don't have any experience with Checkmate 10 rounders but I have quite a few of their 7 and 8 round mags and they have performed quite well for me. The Chip McCormic Power Mags do have a great reputation.

Any sacrifice in reliability compared to their 8 round power mags?

I have the 7 round and 8 round extended tube mags with hybrid feed lips myself. They have a rep for smoother controlled feed.
