Too high of a price for Barry's?

Being new to the scene, I'm not entirely sure about prices for most supplies. I came across a range today that had a moderate amount of reloading supplies and found a few boxes of berry's plated .40cal bullets. Is $149 for 1k or these bullets too high of a price, or is it about average?

A little high, especially when adding tax, but at least they have them.

If that price includes shipping and no tax,I'd say about average. I've seen recent prices a bit lower, but not by much.

They are in a brick-and-mortar store, so... tax, but no shipping. So, add about $9 making them about $158

How does one find out shipping at Powder Valley? I was thinking about getting some of their Berry's but I went almost all the way through with ordering and never saw a quote for shipping.

Yea, I wish they did it differently, but their shipping has always been reasonably when I have ordered from them.

hmm if they will do 1000 .40 S&W for $14, their price is still better than direct from Berry's at their current price, which has gone up a tad.

With the price of Berry's going up I have switched to XTreme for my .40s&w. Order direct from XTreme, and the prices shown are shipped prices. I was buying Berry's .401" RSFP last year for $112/k to my door.

You can also check www.twoalphasupply.com for bullets in stock. Decent prices, and good customer service. I found them when buying some bullets on GB (had to have them NOW! )
