I posted a while back on GP100 vs. 686. After a lot of great advice, I went with the GP100, 4 in. 357. The only thing I found to be desired was the sights. I found it difficult with middle aged eyes to acquire the target with the black front ramp, so I took a friend's advice and got some Testor's flourescent red model paint, masked the front sight, and got a very nice result, making acquisition much easier. The only problem was, after putting 100 rounds down range, I noticed that the heat was causing the paint to bubble. Obviously, this is a decent, but temporary fix, and I don't look forward to repeating the process every couple of hundred rounds or so. So, I have been looking at fiber optic sights, both front and rear. Does anybody have any experience with Williams Firesights on a GP100?. Specifically, how is the installation and performance? The application here is daylight/range shooting, up to 25 yards.
