Which sling(s) is considered correct for the Eddystone rifles? Pictures and markings appreciated if you guys have them. From what I can tell it appears that several types are correct.

The most common I believe was the M1907 leather sling, though there was a web sling called the Kerr. My M1917 has a M1907 sling on it. Several places sell repros; if you want an original, bring $$ and watch out for fakes.

The slings that were approved for use on the M1917 were:

WWI
M1907 Leather Sling
M1917 Kerr Sling

Pre-WWI
M1907
M1917
M1923 Web Sling

WWII
M1907
M1917
M1923
M1 Web sling

Most M1917 Rifles have been observed with either the M1907 or the M1917 sling, but any of the above would be considered "Correct"
