.....rubber revolver grips WITHOUT finger grooves? Hogue only offers finger groove models, and I HATE the feel of the finger grooves since they don't ever fit me right. I'm looking for a recoil absorbing aftermarket grip without finger grooves. Are there any good choices out there? Links please, if possible.

Are those grips any good for a Redhawk?

I have Pachmayr grips on my Blackhawk (.357), and I didn't notice much recoil reduction with that rubber they used. Its a harder feeling rubber than Hogue uses.

Pachmayr actually make rubber grips called decelerators ,they are suppose to lessen felt recoil but they are in the Gripper style.:)

And they work just fine. A lot better than the stock wood grips that come with the BH. Good shooting:)

I've had Pachmeyer's on all my revolvers. The only on it didn't help was a Ruger old style Blackhawk in .41 Mag with a 6-1/2" barrel. Something about that gun was just plain brutal. It would raise a blister after about 20 rounds. My favorite carry gun is a 4" blue Model 19 with Pachmeyer's signature grips. Sweet shooter.

I used smooth Pachmayr on my Blackhawk also.
