I just finished setting up my New/Old Lee Automator in .44 Mag. The Automator was sold as a Kit for the 2001 Challenger for only 2 years. I became interested in them when I realized nobody remember them at all!

The kit basically turns any press into a piggy back Pro1000.

BDS's curved ejector pin mod really works beautifully. No more jammed .44 mag shells.

I've never seen one of these, and I like oddball stuff like this. That's just so nuts that it's cool.

Evan, that was my thought exactly!
What killed the idea was, you could purchase an entire Pro 1000 w/dies for about $30 less. The funny thing is that still holds true, it cost me a $180.00 to set this one up, less dies (I already had them)!

The video is up and running. It's my 1st try at Youtube so it's sort of rough and boring, but you get the idea.

The Lee Automator really needs to be mounted on a press that has more leverage.

Your link is incomplete... you apparently copied/pasted from a post you've made elsewhere, and the forum software there edited the link and added "..." in the shortened URL.

FYI

Cool vid. I like weird ways of solving problems. Lee is good at that. :D
