Dunno if you can see what you need from these pics but anyway here they are. I don't have a light box or a good camera or any photographic skill; sorry. I left the links below as thumbnails so it wouldn't overwhelm slower connections. Click for larger if desired. Savvy shooters will immediately identify the single replica in the lineup.

Those look to be mostly (if not all) originals based on the amount of clearance under the barrel to allow for the loading of conicals. The Italian repros just don't have the room like yours. Am I correct that yours are originals or very well done defarbs?

The Walker is a repro; the others are real.

aaahh, yes, I notice the reproduction!

I cannot tell which one it is, except that you told us, though...

Nice looking revolvers. Now, can you put a Remington in there to show us the difference in the grip there? Or is that sacrilegious?

Sure. I only have repro Remmies, though. I'll try to snap some more/better pics tonight.

The repro Remmies all vary in frame & grip size/shape among the different manufacturers and even within the same manufacturer. The originals have very little step down from the frame to the top of the barrel when viewed from the side. Uberti is about the only repro that looks the same as the original in profile. I don't know about how they compare in grip size/shape vs the originals.

May as well throw this up while we're waiting, as it might help someone looking for size comparisons... see if you can spot the fakes. :)

Is that Patterson (could be mistaken) the one on the top a reproduction?

How about the 1862 under it? It looks Uberti to me.

The Walker is a (Spanish, I think) repro, and the Paterson. One more remains... the '49s, '62, and '51 are genuine. ;)
