Load up all your handguns! How many rounds ready to go?

Kind of a twist on the ole "how many you got?" threads.. Without disclosing how many handguns you have, mentally load 'em all up and let us know the total round count.

Some rules: All chambers loaded and one magazine per gun (for those that take them.)

Feel free to use the highest-capacity magazine you have for a particular gun, but only if it is/was offered by that gun's maker/importer as an optional accessory. For example, if you have a S&W 59-series mag for your Kel-Tec P11, don't count that one because Kel-Tec never sold it as an option for the P11. If you have an OEM magazine extension that adds capacity, you can use that, too (my P32 is counted as having an eight-round magazine because one of its OEM mags has been fitted with that accessory from KT.)

Feel free to include black-powder handguns, but let us know how many rounds of the grand total would come from them.

I'll go first. I count 148 rounds ready to fire, 12 of which would come from black-powder revolvers. Just to break it further, 53 of the cartridge rounds are in .22LR.

My three 9x19 glocks alone would be 102 rounds with factory 33 rounders. I don't have the patience or inclination to add up all the others.

109, with 12 black powder, by the strict letter of the exercise. However, if iwere to count traditional single action revolvers as five, not six, it'd be 105.

Don't want to hypothetically shoot myself in the hypothetical arse, should I happen to hypothetically drop one on the hypothetical hammer, after all.

Tenn, did you not read my complete post? That is each gun with one magazine as setup from manufacturer plus one chambered. Count is just for handguns, Ruger, S&W, glock, Remington, Sig Sauer, Beretta, Walther, and numerous others. Rereading my post, saw what you meant and fixed it. Plural on "mag" and singular on "gun".

So if I just go with guns I can remember I have:

BHP's .40 Cal - 33
BHP's 9mm - 28
Witness Match - 16
1911 - 9
Beretta .25 - 7
Browning .25 - 7
XDm's 9mm - 40
Various .22's - 63
Various .32's - 54
Various .380's - 54
Revolvers - 11

So 322 that I can remember, I may be leaving out a few .32's since I have quite a few pre-war pistols in that cartridge.

Going with what I'd expect for the rules:

372 (assuming I'm not missing one or a few from the count, which is where the smart money would be)
68 of that are BP

If I were allowed to count each Contender barrel separately, instead of just what's on frames, the total would go up a mite. Ditto for caliber conversion kits for autoloaders or conversion cylinders for revolvers...

Fun thread.

Two years or so ago my count would have bin a bit higher, but I sold a few of my less sentimental handguns to upgrade my long-gun department.

Playing by the OP rules my current # is 91 shots

19 are black powder guns, three six-shooters and a single-shot

12 - .22lr

8- .32acp

16- 9mm

6- .38spl/.357 mag

6- .45lc

18- .45acp

6- .44mag

hmmm, I could carry a good amount of 'em on me but I think I need a mule for at least 4 or 5 of these, especially the 1847 Walker :D

Most magazines are not made by the manufacture of the weapon.

However, both Beretta and Glock offer Hi Capacity magazines..

Here is Beretta's 20 or 30rd options.
http://www.berettausa.com/shop-by-department/gun-accessories/accessories-by-gun/handguns/full-size/92fs-type-m9a1-9mm/

Glock doesn't sell magazines to the public directly so I cannot link that.

Not a bit on mine, can't speak for anyone else. My comment about barrels and conversion units and such was just sour grapes, much like the guys that have complaints about NOT being able to count what's in all their spare high-cap magazines.

Oh, my count went up by another 7 the day before yesterday: traded an "11" for a "18" (and it came with a .22 conversion slide/etc, to boot).
