What price is your LGS asking for a Ruger SR22?

For the Ruger SR22, my two local LGS want $400 + tax and NICS, making the OTD price about $430. Even for cash on the spot they wouldn't shave off a penny. It's much cheaper on the internet, even after shipping and FFL transfer.

Just curious if this price is similar to other local brick and mortar stores. I'd like to support my LGS, but not at a 20% premium.

The pistol? CDNN Investments has them for a good price. Can't remember exactly...$359?

About $300 here in Ohio.
Too bad you are in Florida, I'm thinking about selling mine. It has been a great pistol, but I have a Beretta 71 now.

Typically, about $350 here. It was higher a year ago, closer to $400.

Simple solution. Buy it from a different store.

Why are they charging for a NICS check anyway?

Bud's has a model with a Crimson Trace laser sight for $395, free shipping.

$370

My first three cost $300, $300 and $370 (I like the SR22 :) )

I assume "and NICS" means the dealer is charging you for the NICS check?
If so, that is a rip off. I would think it should be illegal to charge for a NICS check.

Base model, $299.99. The price goes up from there depending on the model.

$330-$350 here in LA. $400 is too high. You can find better deals online and still come out ahead after paying fees. They're currently out of stock, but Kentucky Gun Co. lists the standard SR22 for $299.

Thinking about this..... for $400 I would consider selling you my SR22 with 5 mags if you pay the fees. Low miles (1000 rounds or less through it). Early edition with "PISTOL" on the slide. The mags are about $25 ea.

Never a jam with about 5-6 different brands of ammo through it.

$349.00 around here is average price. I have seen a little lower and a little higher, but NOT even near $400.00

This week KTP is running a sale at $299 for the base. I think I paid $339 or $349 for mine this past winter. I am seriously considering purchasing another one as I like it so much (and I never get to shoot it when I take my son with me to the range as he hoards it).

The Houston area dealers were asking $350 to $400 for them.
Two weeks ago I got on GunBroker and won a bid for a NIB SR22 for $272+$20 shipping+$20ffl transfer.
So $312 out the door.
Great little pistol and except for the first 20 rounds it has run through seven different brands of ammo without any issues.
So far 400 rounds have been put through it.

$300+tax a year ago here, got it at a gun show. It had a $400 price tag on it saying that it came with a Crimson trace laser, but the guy had sold the laser to someone wanting a glock with a laser and forgot to change the price tag. He didn't have a problem knocking off $100 bucks when i pointed it out.
