Went to the gun show in NYS at hamburg NY and there was plenty for sale.
And now they have a new NY Legal AR-15/M-4 ,the way they are making it "legal" is to make them ala California style.

Meaning the mag is welded into [ not removable at all = welded ] the mag well of the rifle and you load my pulling the enlarged takedown pin and loading the 10 round mag.

Cant hunt with that set up as your only allowed a 5 round mag for hunting.Might make up one since it was approved by the NYS Police in Albany.

Best part of the show was finding Aguila Golden Eagle Match .22's at 55.00 dollars a brick [ 500 rounds ].

They are marked Ely Prime and that is THE best price I have seen for a long time.

Bought 1500 rounds and that did not clean out that dealer.

Now I can play at the range for at least a year with that booty.

Also found 2 boxes of 300 AAC Blackout in 220 grain for hunting deer & hog.

Does the law say that it has to be welded in place or need a tool to remove the mag? CA law says that you need a tool to remove the mag, doesn't need to be welded. That's where the bullet button came in, the center of the release button is drilled out and fixed in place. The center is spring loaded and uses a bullet or other tool to release the mag so that you can reload it.

If this is the case then a bullet button should be in your future, check your laws.

So Far the State police have only approved this method ,might be that in the future that will change.

We are still in a realworld challenge to this idiotic law.

The bullet button is on the verge of being banned in California.
