Anyone have vapor trail pics?

I love mid-flight trajectory photos. Watching the arc, as well as the round cutting through the air faster than it can get out of the way, is a real treat. Apparently conditions have to be just right; has anyone snagged a picture of a trail?

I don't,
but in googling "Bullet Vapor Trails", I came across this video where they cut and filed to unbalance .22 bullets and then filmed the reaction at high speed.

Pretty crazy the change in trajectory. Check it out. (not to derail your thread)

It's not a vapor trail. A vapor trail is when water condenses out of the air leaving trail of fog. What you're talking about is called a "trace"

The is a cool video tnoutdoors9 did on YT with a .30 carbine out to 300y. You can see the trails quite well as well is the bullet's massive drop at those distances.

^ I didn't see any vapor trails in that vid, but then again, I wasn't wearing my vapor trail glasses while I watched it.

What I did see at 8:19 was the distortion of the light from the compression of the air around the bullet, I assume from the shock waves. Schlieren lines, I suppose, but from the back instead of the sides, as is usually done.

Dang it, I have seen actual vapor trails from bullets on vids recently, but I'm danged if I can find the vids right now. They were probably shot in pretty humid conditions, where the dew point was close to the temperature of the air.
