It took me 3 years to find this rifle in stock. EVERYONE that told me they could get one, ended up calling me back and apologizing to me and passing on that it wouldn't be until March (when Browning starts shipping orders from the SHOT show and such) before I could get one. Well, March came around and still none were available, and that happened 3 times before I called Browning to ask What's Up? Browning informed me that according to the shipping logs, 300WSM was a popular caliber for mule deer, bear, elk, and the like. 70% of 300WSM Left Handed X-bolt Medallions went to Canada each year since inception. I thought that was crazy. And I still think it's crazy. But I got one and put a very nice Z6i 3-18x50 on it for my buddy and I'll say it is ONE FINE RIG ! ! ! He's ordering custom turrets for the 165 and 180gr rounds he shoots. It feels like a load has been lifted. Now, for sighting and then taking the 300WSM to 500+ yards.
