I made sure I had all the primers pushed in all the way on my charter arms 38 spl snub nose. Using CCI primers 158gr LRN, W231 power 3.6gr. I had two dud's, which is about what I get with the factory ammo, so I'm going to blame those on the firing pin. My next step is taking my gun to a gunsmith to look at the firing pin and spring. I haven't tried using the Winchester primers yet. Much better results than the last time I fired.

I appreciate the help I got in the other thread, I think primer seating was probably 75% of the issue.

I've never tried Federal's, but I have been told they are a softer primer and easier to detonate with a weak strike.
