Sounds good to me. Bow hunting is the way to go in densely populated areas. A crossbow would make it a bit easier for more people.

Interesting. Usually at airports and such, they hire some professional outfit with suppressed ARs.

There's a nice gang of turkeys around there too.

When I worked at the new airport, I used to look around there for places to archery hunt.

A few friends of mine live in & around Imperial. I work just off of Cliff Mine rd.

I was scouting an area along Enlow rd and ran into a Sherriff's Deputy. I asked about what chance there might be to hunt the area.
His response was that if whoever was on duty was a hunter, you might be OK, if the guy on duty was a non hunter, maybe not. If you hunted an area another law enforcement guy wanted to, it could be bad. :).

I've been told that the area between Enlow rd and route 30 are, or were, really prime hunting spots. I'm pretty sure the airport bought up all that land and pretty much disallowed hunting.

I now hunt just a few miles from there and took a small buck and doe last season not too far from Santiago.

Not sure what areas they might open but I'll bet there are some decent deer in there.
