Just a heads up for this new release, Greentop's Sporting Goods, in Central Virginia "had" 2 ea Sig P227 platforms in 45Cal as of today. They had one left after I left the store, quite a bit more the happy camper! Worth the ride for this one.

What are they selling them for? Knowing Greentop...$900+ for a standard gun I would think

This model was supplied with rail and night sights, plus one extra mag. Sticker was 989.00 and was discounted upon request for "your best price", admitted have been a "regular" at this location for more than a few years and have purchased more than a few units from them. I think they will deal with anyone who wants to haggle. McSwack

They all come with a rail, pretty sure they all come with two magazines too. Night sights are optional though. MSRP for one with night sights is $1085.

Greentop rarely has the best prices, but they always have the selection.

There isn't much room for wiggle on expensive new guns like SIG, but one should expect them to try to match prices with places like Colonial Shooting Academy, Dance's, DeGoffs,.... should those prices be slightly less. Used guns are another matter.

Last Roanoke gunshow I saw 1 (only one) for 889 with regular sights.

Just looked it up, I was wrong, the SAS Gen 2 comes without the rail, but it is more expensive than the standard railed version
