I was watching the movie "Resident Evil" (I have to insert that I think Milla Jovovich is awesome. A woman with a rifle sure looks good!)

When these people became zombies in the movie, and had to be shot multiple times.. I'm fairly curious..

I always thought the .223 had a reputation for a lot of expansion and taking out chunks of flesh at that type of range.. or am I wrong??

I'm sure it would depend on the ammo type.. which will bring me to the second part of the question: what is the typical "covert-op" ammo? Hollowpoints? Yes?
