That would be like me claiming to be a Gary Nolan supporter but plan on voting for Bush?

What gives?

Most will jump ship once they're in the voting booth. Friends of mine were Nader supporters in 2000, right up until election day.

I'm a democrat and always vote republican! :banghead: How can this be!

I once was a republican. :) I always had hidden feeling as if I were a democrat. :what:

I always wanted to vote democrat but never say a candidate worthy of my vote. So I decided to change my party affiliation :what: so as to increase the chance by one that a good democratic candidate would arrise.

Unfortunatly one vote hasn't made a difference. :( I must continue to vote for the best candidate and they are always republican. I'm a registed democrat but can't vote my party because we never have a good candidate!

KERRY, no way. Nader, no way again. Looks as if I must vote republican again. I'm voting for the best candidate and at this time that person is..............................Bush! :p

So I must ask all loyal American Democrats to help me find a candidate worthy of my vote!

LOL

A lot of gun owners that are Dems are lifelong Dems.

Old folks, union guys.

Always told that the Republicans are evil.

Voting Bush. Helping Nader get on Ballot. Hurt John Kerry? NO. Pissed at Democrats telling him not to get on ballot. Pretty nervy if you ask me. Man has got every right to run even if I disagree with mush of what he stands for!

I don't agree with hardly anything that the man says. But, anything that helps lead us away from our silly two party system is a good thing. I am not a huge fan of EITHER democrats OR republicans on a lot of issues. It would be nice if we could introduce some other choices. As much as i dislike Nader he lends some credibility to the concept of a multi-party system.

Anyone ever see the Simpsons episode where the two Alien overlords got themselves on the ballot one on each party. They were 'outed' on election day and the lack of alternative choices meant that we STILL voluntarily elected an evil alien overloard. Thats kinda how ive felt for the last couple of elections.

Easy: they hate George Bush more.

Remember that for almost all Kerry voters, he was not their first choice (back in Nov. he was lagging with 6% of the Democratic Primary polls and guesses were being made as to when he would drop out).

They tried to explain Mr. "I don't fall"'s comeback as an "electability" issue, but every time he opens his mouth I care less for him.

This election has nothing to do with "Weeble" Kerry. Its about whether enough people HATE the President to turn him out, or not.

The love for Kerry in my area is non existent.

Kucinich has way more support than him

That is why I find it wierd that these people are bitching about Kerry but WILL vote for him.

Funny you should bring this up, as I was just discussing this topic with (a very attractive, I might add) woman the other day.

The young lass is in politics and we were discussing how so many campaign volunteers jump from one democratic campaign to another without blinking. I said that one must definitely question the strength of conviction (or glaring lack thereof, rather) in such individuals, and she agreed.

I believe that I referred to them as "political whores," and I think it is an accurate description.

All American leftists are communists, and Ronald Reagan said it very well when he said, "Communists reserve to themselves the right to lie, cheat and steal."

Whatever advances their cause is moral and just, whatever opposes it is not.

Bottom line; they aren't supporting any one candidate; they are merely opposing their enemy, who in this case is GW Bush.

Then in the next scene everyone is in chains, slaving away to build the giant ray gun, and Homer says, "Don't blame me, I voted for Kronos."(sp)

I was a life-long Democrat up until a few years ago. Funny that I seldom voted for any Democrats because they were just too wacky.

The Dems have been heading rapidly to the left for the last 20 or more years and it became impossible to ignore the fact that their base is made up of athiest communists.

I am now a registered Libertarian, but I mainly target my vote to defeat the Democrat candidate. If the Republican candidate is clearly leading in the polls, I will often vote for the Libertarian candidate to boost their numbers and, hopefully, to make the Republicans take them seriously. This may be the only way to stop the Republicans from following the Democrats to the left.
