Had one of the first holiday gatherings with the family yesterday. My Dad ended up showing me a chrome revolver, break action. I think it was a 32

On the top of the barrel web it appeared to say Forewarn Firearms Co Worcester MA

I did some searching on the web and couldn't find any info on it. Anyone hear ever heard of that particular company or the models they offered?

Thanks

I believe what it actually said is:
Forehand Arms Company, Worcester, Massachusetts

Goggle that and you will find it.

That is it. Did a quick search and it came right up.

Going out on a limb, but I'm guessing it's chambered for .32 Smith & Wesson or .32 Smith & Wesson Long.
Or, perhaps a now-forgotten contemporary cartridge or perhaps a S&W cartridge by another maker's name. (a la .32 Colt New Police)

The Forehand company was bought out by Hopkins Allen.
They are 32 S&W caliber.
I just got two of them functioning again, and they are fun to shoot.
If it is marked Forhand, then it is from the late 1890's
But if it said Forehand and Wadsworth, it would be from the 1880's
