I was at a gunstore the other day and the guy had a 870 with a CAR-15 collaspable buttstock and really nice pistol grip. I don't know who makes them but they need some kind of adapter to fit the reciever and pistol grip.

I don't normally go info this kind of thing but it felt pretty good and made the gun feel lighter. When you collasped the stock, it made it much shorter and handier.

I can get the stock from any place but I need to know the name of the maker of the adapter and pistol grip.

Yep, there is Calvary Arms and Argonaut Armament.

Pick the one you want, I doubt either will fail you.

Be careful. :( I have a bunch of years with ARs/M16s. I looked at the FN version and found that I wanted to take the safety off with my thumblike the AR. Worried me that I would make the same mistake under pressure, so no AR type grip/stock for my SGs.
