What garment do you conceal your handgun with?
DAL

Do you have some special way of concealing your handgun when you carry? Does it vary (I'm sure it does) between winter and summer? Do you use an untucked t-shirt, a jacket, a sportscoat, or something else?
I usually wear my belly band holster year 'round. I'm fully aware, however, that although it conceals my handgun very well, it is not the quickest arrangement for getting my gun into action if needed.

Summer: either an un-tucked T-shirt or golf shirt, OR tucked-in T with a Hawaiian shirt or gaucho shirt covering.
Winter: sweater, tech vest, jacket.
Business attire: sport coat or suit jacket.

My Kahr pistol is so slim that I only need an untucked T-shirt to cover it. And it doesn't even have to be a size too big (might as well not be, since I can't usually find XXXL in Walmart :) )
For bigger pistols, I use the "currently in style" Hawaiian or Japanimation shirts over a T-shirt in the summer, and a flannel shirt or leather jacket in winter.
If I can't wear an untucked shirt or other cover garment, I carry a S&W 642 in my pocket.

Winter: loose-fitting sweaters, shirts, or a coat.
Spring: oversized untucked polo shirts, printed tee-shirts, sports coat or light jacket.
Summer: SAA
Fall: see Spring.

Mild/warm weather: T-shirt or polo-style shirt tucked in with a second denim or heavyweight cotton shirt untucked over that, or a photo-style vest.
Cool weather: photo vest, fleece pullover, untucked flannel shirt.
Business attire: sportcoat.
All of the above covering a full-size 1911 in a pancake-style holster and a double-mag pouch.

Cooler months, leather jacket or light jacket of some sort. When it warms up, the firearm get smaller and go from IWB to in the pocket.

With a S&W 386 TiScan. Don't want the gun next to my skin so I always wear a T-shirt tucked in. Over than an untucked cotton shirt in summer. Add a warm coat in winter. Pretty much same old, same old all year around. Oregon's climate is pretty mild all the time. Good shooting;)

Greeting's All-
I guess "all of the above" would apply for me.
In summer, untucked T-shirt, loose fitting "Hawiian"
shirt, sport coat, and suit N' tie. In the colder months,
a light jacket, or a heavy utility coat such as a parka.
Best Wishes,

Pretty much anything untucked. Over shirt either cotton or flannel when weather permits.
Suit and tie sort of attire I haven't yet found a comfortable method. The weight pulls too much on slacks. Considering getting a P32 for these situations. Leave the real gun in the car.

I'm so fat my rolls cover my holster nicely. So I usually just
walk around in a tactical speedo.:what:

Summer: Untucked shirt~Plus, one in my pocket.
Winter: Sweater or Vest.~Plus, one in my pocket. Yes, I realize that the vest screams GUN. Yes, I LIKE that. (I'm not doing anything wrong-my pistols are covered and I have a CCW license.)--and if a "BG" looks at me and thinks, "This guy is armed", GOOD!
Both seasons: In addition, I plan to keep a light snub in my "Galco Ankle Glove".

All seasons: Suit coat, untucked shirts of all kinds. And sometimes a light or heavy jacket, but only if I'm not going to take it off during my outing.

My fave year 'round is clothing to suit the weather first - I want to be comfortable.
IWB/BHP strongside outside of all that with a Gore-Tex windbreaker over all. I'm toasty with the clothing & the windbreaker breaks the wind/weather while giving cover.
A very quick sweep allows instant access to.
Worst case in summer heat = a loose/blousy shirt (usually unbottoned/hanging loose) = same thing. Quick sweep w/access.

Square hemmed casual shirts with printed patterns year 'round. If it gets cold, I wear a shirt jacket over them.

Some of you fellas sure have a strange notion of what "big" is.
For me, I wear a vest pretty much year-round, as I have too much compassion for my fellow humans to let them see my gut(s).
When the IDPA course suggests (nay, demands) conceal, I wear my vest with a few rounds in the right pocket so it swings open wider for an easier draw.
My idea of "big" is what I am...
6XLT. Or for the Romans out there--> XXXXXXLT
Not only am I a big guy, I'm a great bowling score!
Of course, at over 6'6" and hovering near 500lbs., I reckon I'm big to most folks.;)

I'll bet you get what others have said to me... except 2x as much... (since you're 2x as big ;) )
At your size, why do you even need to carry? :D
Of course, I always answer "Well, at my size, anybody who starts trouble with me is either stupid, psychotic, or knows something I don't. :scrutiny:

I wear OWB in either a belt slide or Kydex paddle holster, depending on if I am going to need to remove my pistol for storage or not.
I cover with a polar fleece vest, from September through May. Summertime I switch to Thunderwear or shorts pocket carry (Republic Arms Patriot 45).
I live near Seattle, WA, so fleece vest fits in with just about everybody.

Arizona's summer is long and hot so you get creative. I pocket carry my Springfield Ultra Compact. I just bought a Springfield XD and will be getting an IWB holster and an untucked Tshirt.

pretty much year round here in Miami, a Hawaiian shirt or some other button up shirt, worn over a colored tee shirt. IWB or OWB holster, both conceal well like that.
