I saw a SxS on the used rack today labelled Sears, and I wish I could remember the model number - something like 107? The tag said it was made by Stevens for Sears. It was right next to an actual 311, and they appeared identical. It was a utility grade, 26" or 28" barrels (sure didn't pay very close attention, did I), fixed chokes, plain wood, splinter forend, hammerless, automatic safety. Seemed in good to excellent condition, clean. Didn't get to try the fit or triggers - shop too crowded. Asking price $295. Any thoughts?

A Sears 101.7C is the same as a Stevens 311C.

It's a 311, which makes it a fine gun, but $295 is a bit on the high side unless it's just exceptional.
