He said before the latest Iraq war you could drive into Iraq and buy "Klasnikovs" for $5.00. Browning HPs were the same price. After the war $1000 for either. The locals here are not allowed to own military caliber firearms and mostly shoot shotguns on the ranges. Saw a brand new Winchester 9410 on his rack. Asked him the price and he said ~$1000.
