I was at a local shop and there in the case was a nice in the white Charles Daly mini mauser action for 223.
First question are they any good????
I was thinking a short 17" barrel with a true M16 flashsuppressor on it in 221 fireball in a Boyd's Boys thumbhole stock would be cool. Then I thought about Tamara's Turk in 300 whisper????? with the threaded muzzle????, then I remembered that 223 and a 357 max are the same billet while forming in the factory, 223 gets a neck and small rim and the 357 max stays straight and gets a rim mmmm.... Take a 223 and cut off the neck at 1.29 and the case is a rimless 357..... Reloading proposition only with 357 dies and 223 shell holder????
Does it seem like a waste of time or just go with the .221 fireball
