Bill Clinton thinks Americans have too much Freedom?

When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans... And so a lot of people say there’s too much personal freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it. That’s what we did in the announcement I made last weekend on the public housing projects, about how we’re going to have weapon sweeps and more things like that to try to make people safer in their communities.
-Bill Clinton
I was browsing some quotes on a parody site of the Bradys and ran across that one.
Dang! I already knew I didn't like the guy but did he really say that? How long ago was this!?

"You know the one thing that's wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say."
President William Clinton addressing the people of Philadelphia, May 28, 1993 in the Courtyard, City Hall, Philadelphia, PA.
"The last time I checked, the Constitution said, 'of the people, by the people and for the people.' That's what the Declaration of Independence says."
President Bill Clinton, campaigning October 17, 1996. From a campaign speech given in California. Quoted in Investor's Business Daily October 25, 1996
"We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans to legitimately own handguns and rifles"
March 1, 1993, Remarks by the President In Discussion With National Service Volunteers, Learning Center New Brunswick, New Jersey

Refresh my memory: Who cares what he thinks?I do and so should a lot of others. While Bubba is out of office, he stills controls the levers of power in the democrat party for one purpose: the election of his "wife" as president. If you think his "wife" won't run for office you are sadly mistaken. The lady is hell-bent on being president and she will do anything to anybody to achieve her goals.
We had plenty of warning about those clowns and we elected them anyhow. Let's just keep fresh in our minds how anti-American that pair really is.

So Unca Willie wants to restrict the God given freedoms of the average American?
I say let's start with him, by confining his disgusting, vomitous, felonious self to an 8x10 cell at Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.

Gburner: I don't agree with felonious exactly (unless it is a malum in se crime) there are too many damn laws making everybody a criminal already. Other than that, I agree with your description of our first disgrace wholeheartedly! ;)

Brainwashed generationJudging by what I might euphemistically call my peers, the parents of that generation didn't fair very well either. :scrutiny: :uhoh: :banghead: :cuss:

It gets worse. My recollection is that when he wanted to forcibly remove all the weapons from a housing project, his assistants pointed out that it would be in violation of the Fourth Amendment (search and seizure). He then replied, "Well, can't we find a way around it ?"

The lady is hell-bent on being president and she will do anything to anybody to achieve her goals.
Hell, she's already had eight years of being president.
One of the things I used to say from 1993 to 2000 was:
"I think Clinton's the worst president we've ever had, and I don't care much for her husband either."
