Hello friends, I have got a problem with my shell feeder not pushing the brass under my plate. It kind of kinks it to the side a little and will not feed into the plate past the spring that holds the round to the disk. I have adjusted everything that I can adjust and have things worked out as far as feeding goes and the retraction of the feeder, basicly what I'm trying to say is I've got the timing right but the darn thing will not got willingly under the plate.:fire::banghead: Has anybody else had this problem and if you have ,HELP, I'm going crazy with this thing. And yes it is the correct plate for the round I should add. Well that's all I got, Thanks for any help if somebody knows the answer...

Have you tried all the V-blocks that came with the feeder? It sounds like you need a longer one.

It sounds like it pushing it in too soon. Try running the adj guide rod all the way down (Lock nuts adj up), that is how mine is setup.

What caliber?

Make sure that the plate is indexed properly (try to see if the detents are engaged by attempting to rotate the shellplate by hand after the handle is forward).
Check for any burrs on plate or case rim/extractor groove.
Make sure the retainer spring is pulled down in the subplate groove.

If the v-block and timing are anywhere close that should do it.

Is the spring DOWN IN THE GROOVE in the area of the shuttle transferring the case.

If not, place your finger on the spring pushing it down (start at the position

before the shuttle position), Keep your finger on it and rotate the shellplate

2 positions.

The spring should now be down in the groove and below the shellplate in the

area of the shuttle transfer position.

Have you added a 3/8" lockwasher to the bolt in the center of the shellplate.

This helps keep the shellplate from becoming loose, just add it over top of the flat washer.

You may have to try different V-Blocks, you should mark them what fits what.

Well the winning answer is........................ Blue68f100 !
Thanks to you all for responding to my problem so quickly. As soon as I saw it sounds like it's feeding too soon, I knew that was it. I had the thing feeding in sync with everything but I noticed it looked like sometimes the case would try to hit the plate to soon. So I adjusted it all the way down which didn't make sense at the time but that was the answer. So anyways, again thanks so much, Tim......
