Anyone know of a good Holster maker in the Houston/gulf coast area??
Especially and/or specificly one that does a good rendition of the GI Flap holsters intended for the 1911.

only "known name" that is currently coming to my mind is Tucker Gunleather up in houston (who i DO intend to do business with in the near future), but a quick look through the links/files i have doesn't show the type of holster i'm looking for.

in an effort of possibly clarifying what it is i am sort of hoping to find.. what i am wanting is to find, if possible a LOCAL maker that makes something similar to the following item from El Paso Saddlery

1940 Flap Holster (https://secure.aaa-servers.com/epsaddlery.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=91)

someting i me just preferres to do business with the local "small(er) shop" artisan types than with the big names (plus if at all possible i want a custom stamping on teh flap) :D

anyone have any names or ideas??

thank you for your time.

Det - Contact Rob Longenecker. Just because Tuckers site doesn't show a pattern doesn't mean he won't have one tucked away. This outfit is amazingly flexible, in addition to their other attributes.

been in contact, Tucker is swamped with orders for his "regular" products and at this time does not feel he can or should take on the project.

oh well, getting work done by him will just have to wait till i buy my Concealed carry gear. :)
